I am only happy when I have a project on the go and here are the projects I am working on at the moment:

Blood and Clay (Young Adult historical fiction novel)

It is the year 1612 and James I is ruling over England with an violent paranoia about Catholics and witches. Not seven years since the Gunpowder Plot James I becomes obsessed with securing his safety and his reign and instructs all of the magistrates in the country to seek out and prosecute witches using is book The Daemonology as a guide.

With a secret belief in God but surrounded by a family that serve the Devil, fifteen year old Alizon will have to triumph through dark times of witchcraft, poverty and family feuds to survive King James’ crusade.

Will Alizon’s good heart defeat all odds or will her naivety lead her to an early death at the gallows?

Blood and Clay follows Alizon, the youngest of all of the accused Lancashire witches, in her tragic tale of being born into the wrong family in a dangerous time.

Wendigo Wars (Teen Horror)

The White came and left behind it a ravenous enemy.
It is the year 2170 and one hundred years ago global warming led to famine, then the White - a second ice age. The ice brought cannibalism and the cannibalism brought the wendigo.
Mathilde Fidell holds the fate of Europe and America in her hands and when a war is declared between the humans and the wendigo it falls to her to find a way to save mankind.
Will her self doubt prevent her from fulfilling her prophecy or will it be an enemy much closer to home which jeopardises her war against the wendigo?
